Week Ahead in Athletics
With our Soccer & Basketball season wrapping up, we will be celebrating our teams with a wrap up pizza party in the next few weeks. Our Soccer wrap up party with take place Tuesday, December 2, from 3:30-4:45pm. Our Basketball wrap up party will take place Wednesday, December 11, from 3:30-4:45pm.
Our school was in the top three sellers of tickets for the Calgary Calvary FC soccer season! Due to our ranking, players of the Cavalry will be visiting our school December 2 at lunch, in the fitness room, to meet and sign autographs for students. The team will be bringing a team scarf and jersey for the school, and will bring their trophy for our students to see.
For the month of December our students will begin the Dance module in PE. Students will not be required to change for Dance, so this will be a great time for our grade 7-9 students to bring home their gym strip for a wash.

Next week our clubs will not be running due to our Scholastics book fair.
Scholastics Book Fair
The book fair is coming to our learning commons! During the week of December 2-6, students are welcome to come in to the LC to purchase books, posters and fun school supplies. This important fundraiser helps our school to earn free books for our library collection. These are the times that the book fair will be open for sales….
Lunch Breaks
Monday through Thursday from 12:45 until 1:18, students can come to make purchases based on the following grade breakdown:
Monday: Grades 5
Tuesday: Grade 6
Wednesday: Grade 4
Thursday: Grade 7-9
After school: Monday through Thursday from bell time until 3:45 p.m.
Family Event Night: On Tuesday, December 3, our Scholastic Book Fair will be open from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for a family event. Students are invited to bring family members to the event to enter the draw to earn $20 worth of free Scholastic products.
