We are excited to invite you to the 4th annual Grade 6 Take Action Fair on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 1:45 – 2:45 PM in the main gym at McKenzie Highlands School.

The Take Action Fair is the culminating event of an active citizenship initiative that encourages our Grade 6 students to make a difference in their community. As part of their Social Studies and Health curriculum, students have researched important causes, partnered with organizations, and taken action to raise awareness and support.

During the fair, students will be raising funds for their chosen organizations by selling baked goods, food and drink items, homemade crafts, and materials provided by the charities they are supporting. Some students will also be hosting carnival-style games to further their fundraising efforts. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased with cash outside the entrance to the gym.

All students at McKenzie Highlands will have the opportunity to visit the fair throughout the day, and we welcome families, relatives, and community members to attend during the official public viewing time from 1:45 – 2:45 PM.
